This past week has been a tough week of fishing with the conditions being less than favorable. Those of us who braved the wind and cooler weather this weekend and the first part of the week saw huge swings in the bites and fish activity. Saturday saw some fish being cooperative and fairly easy and Sunday saw a huge lockdown from the front pushing through. Lake Hartwell Fishing Report - March 17th, 2021
Anyone that fished this weekend undoubtedly noticed the bite improved with the warmer weather we had. The fish seemed to react quickly with a majority of the fish pushing shallow and actively feeding on the bait that was enjoying the warmed water. The lake level is holding steady at 659.02 with a chance for a bit of a rise after the heavy storms excepted Thursday. Lake Hartwell Fishing Report - March 10th, 2021
Lake Hartwell continues to fish pretty well overall with the spotted bass and crappie making up for the days the stripers and hybrids act a little finicky. The lake level is 659.02 ft as of Wednesday, March 10th with water temps around the 55-degree mark. A decent warming trend is here with favorable weather forecasted for the weekend. I’d say it’s a great weekend to get out on the lake and start looking for some fish. March is a major transitional period and can be a diffic
